More About Presidents' Day
Presidents' Day is observed on the third Monday in February. Its official federal name is still Washington's Birthday, a tribute to George Washington, who was born on February 22, 1732. Because the holiday moved to a Monday in 1971, it can fall anywhere from February 15 to February 21 and never lands on his actual birthday.
